Join us for the 3rd Annual Music for Memories Alzheimer’s Fundraiser, hosted by Chilean-American artist and singer-songwriter Marilyn Hucek. It’s an evening of live music, community, and purpose.
On Saturday, August 15, we’ll gather at 7 Locks Brewing in Rockville for a special night featuring performances by Marilyn Hucek and two incredible guest singer-songwriters, Brendan Lane and Annie Stokes. Together, we’ll raise our voices and vital funds in support of the Alzheimer’s Association and the individuals, caregivers, and families whose lives have been impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
Music for Memories is dedicated to Marilyn’s late father, Richard Hucek, who battled early onset Alzheimer’s for several years. Throughout his journey, music remained one of the most powerful ways to connect with him, a reminder that even when memories fade, music has the ability to comfort, communicate, and endure.
This special evening, we’ll turn up the volume for the ones we love, celebrating the power of song to connect us, bring comfort, and carry memories forward.
