U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion and former Strathmore Artist in Residence Seán Heely returns to the Music Center with his beloved Celtic Christmas special. Joined by his dynamic Celtic Band, Highland and Irish dancers, and the MacMillan Pipe Band, Heely leads a spirited musical journey through Scotland, the rugged Irish coast, and beyond.
This festive program blends ancient Gaelic carols, lively Irish tunes, familiar holiday melodies, and vibrant rhythms from Galicia and Brittany—all with a Celtic twist. Fiddles and bagpipes evoke the spirit of Christmastime and Winter Solstice celebrations, offering a joyful and heartwarming seasonal experience.
