Warm up with Strathmore’s UkeFest this winter! Join friends and faculty from around the world for a virtual ukulele weekend full of special topics workshops, jamming, performances, and camaraderie. Tobias Elof, Tony Mizen, Jeff Peterson, Sonia De Los Santos, Lori Perine, and Liz Brinker join Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer to teach you all kinds of interesting techniques, from slack-key to early classical to folk, swing, and more.

This event is intended for advanced beginner to advanced players. Novice and early beginner students are advised to prepare with a beginner course prior to Virtual Winter Ukefest, or plan to sit in on classes.

Tuition Includes

  • 8 hours of skill-based classes (4 choices per time slot)
  • Daily jam sessions and hangout opportunities

Is this program appropriate for kids?

The program is geared for adults, but we are happy to have kids and teens join us! We just ask that parents/guardians talk with staff before registering. Please email uke@strathmore.org before purchasing a registration for a student under the age of 18.
