Barks & Brews and a Little Boo!

Category: Blog

Live music, local brews, delicious BBQ, costumes and a movie under the stars! Fall fun is headed to the Pike District as the fifth annual Barks & Brews Fall Festival returns to the Pike District Pop-Up Park on Saturday, October 24, from 4–8 p.m.

Hosted by the Pike District Partnership, this free, family-friendly celebration has something for everyone including your four-legged friends!

Food, Drinks and Fall Fun!

Enjoy smoky, pit-style favorites from Hardy's BBQ, sweet treats from Bruster's Ice Cream, craft beer from 7 Locks Brewing and Maryland-made wines from Mazzaroth Vineyard.

The fun doesn't stop there! Kids can bounce away in the moon bounce, challenge friends to cornhole and capture memories at the festival photo booth.

Costumes, Canines and Live Music!

Have a creative costume in mind? Dress up yourself, your pup or the whole family and join our costume parade and contest for people and pets, complete with prizes! Costumes are encouraged but certainly not required.

Good Vibrations Entertainment will get the party started with music before live performances by Ochos des Bastos bring even more energy to the park.

A Movie Under the Stars

As the sun goes down, grab your favorite spot on the lawn and settle in for a screening of Disney's The Haunted Mansion, starring Eddie Murphy. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, get comfortable and enjoy a little spooky fun to close out the evening!
