SUMMER EVENTS ARE HEATING UP IN THE PIKE DISTRICT

The Pike District Partnership is excited to announce another year of ☀️summer☀️ fun! We are thrilled to bring back two popular events,Thursdays in the Park and Friday Night Salsa, and to introduce a new event,Yoga in the Park, for you to enjoy all summer long. Did we mention that all of these awesome events are family-friendly and free? Join in on the fun at the Pike District Pop-Up Park, located at Grand Park Avenue and Banneker Street by the Montgomery County Conference Center parking garage, this summer!   


Thursdays in the Park

The fun kicks off with our concert series on Thursday, June 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and continues for nine consecutive weeks. Thursdays in the park will feature local food trucks and, for attendees 21 and older, a local Montgomery County brewery and spirits distillery will sell a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are available for seating, but guests are welcome to bring chairs and/or picnic blankets.  Other activities include lawn games, raffles and giveaways. Friday Night Salsa

Let the dance party begin! Friday Night Salsa, hosted by ALL OUT DANZA starts Friday, June 30 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and continues on the last Friday of each month through September. Friday Night Salsa will feature local food trucks and, for attendees 21 and older, a local Montgomery County brewery and spirits distillery will sell a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Saturdays in the Park

Our inaugural Yoga in the Park series starts Saturday, June 3 from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. and continues through September. Hosted by extendYoga and Alexis Reed, Saturdays in the Park is a free vinyasa flow class where attendees can connect with nature and themselves. Participants should bring their own mats and refreshments. Pre-registration is required and can be found here
