Who doesn’t love a good itinerary (especially when you don’t have to do the planning 😊)? We certainly do! So we’ve created one for you. Grab some friends and make your way through our Pike District tour full of yummy food and exciting activities for a jam-packed day of fun.
Fuel on up - Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast and coffee from Java Nation. Pro tip – if you’ve never had their Leek & Gruyère Quiche, you’re missing out. Grab a cold brew for a delightful and refreshing hit of caffeine before your next activity!
Public transit AND exercise…woo hoo! – Find a bike using your Dockless Bikeshare app or skedaddle on over to White Flint Metro Station and hop on a Bike Share bike. The Rock Creek Trail is only a short distance away – enter via Randolph Road and take advantage of the 14.5-mile hard surface trail that is suitable for anyone of any athletic ability. Ride as far as Washington, D.C. or explore a shorter loop, like the 2-mile-er around the Pike District from Randolph Road to Veirs Mill Road.
Best noodles ever – Truly. We’re not lying. The Fried Flat Noodles at Lao Sze Chuan are the best noodles ever and they’re perfect to re-fuel after a bike ride. Check out the Lao Sze Chuan experience here, but beware, your mouth will be sufficiently watering.
Puzzle it up – Cool down indoors in the afternoon with an interactive puzzle! Head over to Escapology to experience the rush of an escape room. Antidote is our favorite, but there are plenty of games to choose from. How long will it take you to escape?!
Beer. That is all. – Unwind after the puzzle tension with a beer at 7 Locks Brewing. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – the beer is fantastic! Not a beer person? Don’t fret, because 7 Locks has scrumptious seltzer as well.
Movie theatre-nostalgia with a twist - Finish the night with a movie at IPIC Theaters. This is no ordinary movie-going experience, though. It’s a unique and luxurious movie-going experience. Buy tickets for your movie of choice in advance and enjoy dinner and cocktails delivered straight to your seat!
